Weekly update
I have been such a bad blogger lately. All three of us are suffering from allergies, so it has not been fun in our house!!!!
Here's the scoop on this weeks finding on the adoption front.
Agency A- We had our phone conference this week. Turns out they request all of the money due at time of referral. Now I know of allot of people who had successful adoptions where payment is like this. But that was one thing Vinay and I discussed, that we want an agency that requires half the money at referral and the rest right before pick up. So agency A is out!!!
Agency B- Getting glowing feedback from references. Now to decide if we are going to Honduras or Nicaragua!!!

Weekly update!!
So since starting this adoption process again. I thought I would post a weekly update to fill our family and friends as to where we are. Here we go.
Are we any closer to a decision, no. I'm getting mixed signals from both agencies. One sent me there references and I have not heard back from them. The other was suppose to have a phone conference, one day I rescheduled, and then the next day they missed the call. I did get an email saying she did not see my email, so now it is on for Monday.
I do think we are leaning more toward Honduras, sounds like a better system. Although last year they only had 11 children come to the USA from there. What a difference from Guatemala. So this is uncharted territory and I am terrified!!

Not so wordless Wednesday
So why have we been saving as much money as possible?
Why have we been doing countless hours of online research?
Why have we been making dozens of calls to California to Maine?
Why have I enrolled in a Spanish class?
Have you guessed yet???
Yes your right we are adopting again.
Vinay and I have been talking about this since Christmas, and in February I really started to research countries, agencies, social workers. To be honest this time it seems harder to come to a decision. So here is where we are at.
We are between the countries of Honduras and Nicaragua-
We are between the agencies of Gladney and MLJadoptions out of Indiana
Does anyone have any advice, info (good or bad), or thoughts on our countries or agencies.
As of last week I thought all our decisions had been made, but the more I find out, the more confused I become!!!!
