Jinx

I am longing for the days when my Liv was waking up at 4 or 5. The last 2 night she has been up at 2 or 3. Not really sure why, but we are doing the go in and reassure her and then leave method. Last night it took 1 hour for her to go back to sleep. I am wiped both mentally, can't stop analyzing why she is waking up, and physically, I have been unable to fall asleep. I'm sure this will all work it's self out. So I'm trying not to dwell.

Anyway, here are some pictures of Liv at the park with her friend Emily last week. Thanks for the great playdate Emily and Chris.

Emily is sooo cool in her sunglasses, and look how high Liv is swinging.
Higher Mommy Higher
Ah the seesaw, the most dangerous toy on the playground. How many of you got hurt on a seesaw as a kid?

Alex is doing the EXACT SAME THING!! Maybe it's an age thing. Over the past 3 weeks, he's only slept through the night about 4 times. (Last night was one of them!!) I'm so with you!!!

Oh, I hope things start to settle down for you. A tired mommy is not good. She is too cute in the swing.

I hope her sleep settles down too. I can't imagine how tired you must be. And, I'd be like you and not able to sleep worrying it was going to happen.

Oh that waking in the nite is a tricy one! Nick(our grandson) did it about the same age-when we were sure he wasnt wet, etc. we tried putting 1tbs baby cereal in his last bottle at nite(cut the nippple a bit bigger)We had to up the cereal to 2tbs. before he slept thur the nite til 7am.. He was getting hungry before and feeding extra during the day prior didnt work. The bedtime bottle with just that little bit of cereal held him thru. Just a suggestion from "old" granny Bene! good luck

Just do what works for you to all get some sleep. My hubby still puts our youngest in bed with me when he gets up at 5amish. She will sleep MUCH later that way and I LOVE my mommy cuddle time. I think different things work for different mommies. I don't think you should feel bad about anything if you aren't hurting your kid!! :0) Hope she settles down soon. I do remember Kaitlyn going through seperation anxiety about 10 months old and waking up. It was frustrating!!! Angel
